The Society of Family and Gender Economics - GeFam intends to hold the 7th Meeting on Family and Gender Economics on September, 2026.

Through this announcement, GeFam requests that educational institutions interested in hosting the 2026 Meeting send an email expressing their interest to gefam@gefam.com.br by November 15, 2025.

​

In its expression of interest, the educational institution must specify the support that will be provided for the Meeting. It is expected to include the following points:

​

• Nomination of at least two faculty members from the department to join the local organizing committee;

• An auditorium with a minimum capacity of 150 seats, equipped with sound, presentation, projection, and recording capabilities for the main sessions of the event;

• Provision of space, facilities, and catering for coffee breaks and lunch for participants;

• Space for the poster session, display of promotional materials, and sponsor booths;

• Space for participant reception and registration;

• A support room for the event organizing committee, with access to computers, internet, and a printer;

• Four classrooms equipped for scientific sessions, each with a capacity of approximately 40–50 people. The rooms should have a computer, projector, and high-speed internet;

• Staff for reception, registration, organization, and technical support.
