Laura de Carvalho Schiavon

Laura de Carvalho Schiavon is a Professor in the Departament of Economics at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in 2017.

 

She was a visiting researcher at the University of California – Berkeley from September 2014 to May 2015.  Her research focuses on the impact evaluation of public policies aimed to reduce crime, promote gender equality, and improve the quality and efficiency of public services.
