 Synthia Kariny Silva de Santana

Synthia Santana is a Technologist in Geographical and Statistical Informations at the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), where she is Manager of Analysis and Dissemination for Business Surveys.

 

Santana holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Getulio Vargas Foundation – EESP/FGV in 2016 for her work on Trade and Innovation at firm-level. Over 10 years she has studied the determinants of firm innovation and recently has been working on firm-level diversity of the Brazilian companies. 

Her main research topics are workforce diversity, female entrepreneurship, innovation and international trade of Brazilian firms.
